Last Years Rookies Are This Years Amateurs.

We are pleased to know that the rookies that we had last year have retained their knowledge and are now amateurs. They all hooked and landed grilse.
With the group this year we have several new rookies and they are quickly catching on. In fact one of this year's rookie anglers was the first of the group to land a grilse.
We are very fortunate that our one veteran angler has graciously agreed to take some of the rookies under his wing. We are very confident that with his tutelage and the instruction of one of our best guides they will soon all be hooking up.
He has even introduced some of them to fly tying, and the pattern is being tested this morning.
The water level continues to drop and there is not much precipitation in the forecast.
