The fishing action is pretty hot, the first guest on the water today hooked and released two grilse in just a few minutes at Governor's as the brown bomber proved it's worth! And the action continued much to same for other guests today.
We have some young first time anglers in camp today for the week, and it was a tough day to learn with high winds but some of them hooked and landed their first ever salmon! So it has been an exciting day!
Check out the "New Pics from 2011" section in our gallery for updated pictures taken by guests and staff this year. We will be adding to them regularly.
Stay tuned, the river is still cool and water levels are dropping. This promises to be another great week on the Eagle if this first day is any indication.
