Hello 2022 season

Hello readers, and welcome back to PFSL for the 2022 season. We've been busy here for a few weeks now doing some maintenance and upgrades around camp. We kicked off our 2022 season this week with first group arriving June 28th. The river was high but the week was very hot and dry so the water level has been steadily dropping, and warming up!
The action was slow starting off for this first group. They were seeing lots of fish, but it was only a glimpse of what was barreling through on the high water. The first few days of their trip nothing was holding up in the pools, so the chance rise was a one shot deal and they likely weren't there to 'work on'. The last two days the action picked up substantially. A few guests struck on to good sculls of fresh fish coming in, and, they are starting to hold in some pools.
I expect the next group arriving today is in for some pretty good fishing. The water is a little warm for this early in the season at 65F. That is a little concerning for what may be to come for water temps. But this is Labrador. A place of extremes. It could be 30 degrees mid day and 2-3 degrees at night!
