Canada celebrates 150 years today, and we are proud to be a Canadian owned and operated lodge. Canada, we salute you, for being one of the greatest countries in the world to live, work, and play. We also salute those who have fallen and continue to fight to keep it that way.
The fishing has been tough with very high water, but, not without some success. We have 4 1/2 rookies (as one guest put it) at the lodge this week and one of them hooked up yesterday. We had several fish hooked today as well. Guides and guests are remarking that they are seeing fish, but they are not holding in the high water. The river level is falling, and we expect fishing to only get better!
