Beatle!!!

Once again our guests are very happy with yesterdays fishing results. We had a drop in temperature and a very brisk wind all of yesterday, and we had to have the fireplace lit all day in the main lodge. The colder temperature allowed the river to cool down to about 64 F (17.5 C).
The level is still dropping back and the only precipitation that I saw recorded was 5 hours of light rain showers in the Goose Bay area.
In Pratt's yesterday one guest had an exhilarating time. He hooked a fish shortly after he started fishing. The fish quickly threw the hook and escaped. Of course; as always happens; he was got a thrill and was anxiously fishing again to try to hook another
Shortly afterwards, he hooked and landed a 12 pound salmon that really started the adrenaline flow as you can imagine. When the salmon was brought by the boat and were about remove the fly, it jerked away and took the fly with it.
Of course, the angler sat down and promptly began tying on another. When completed he tossed his fly over and started some short casts to straighten his fly line and get back to the pool.
No sooner was his fly on the water when it was taken by another 12 pound salmon. This happened quickly and when he looked at the unusual bend in his rod he realized that his line which had looped around the tip of the rod while he was replacing the fly.
In a panic he started excitedly calling for his guide's assistance ....Beatle!...Beatle! Beatle!! Beatle!!! Fortunately he was able to clear the line from the rod tip before the fish took off. They again landed this beauty. It was truly hilarious to hear them recall their adventure last evening.
With 2 days of angling left for this group and success like they are having I am sure that we will have another story before their departure.
