Criss Cross Double Header
Posted 04 July 2013, 8:35 am NDT
Well yesterday started out quite well. The guides told us that there appeared to be more fish on the river than they had seen all week.
While fishing the inside of Williams Run a pair of guest had a very exciting double header.
One angler had hooked a salmon and the other hooked into a maxi grilse at the same time. Between the two fish crossing over a couple of times and going under the boat and the quick passing back and forth of rods they had a very exciting experience. Both fish were landed and the anglers shared an experience that they will be able to tell about for many years to come.
We also had some guests that had a trip to White Bear River. The tides were favorable for this day trip and they had a great time fishing and enjoying the beautiful scenery.
The river seems to be holding it's own and the number of fish seen around the river is increasing. We expect our next group to arrive will have a great time.
