All of our guests have now hooked fish. The landed fish were mostly Salmon, which is normal for this time of the season. From my calculation I estimate that 60 - 70% of the fish that have been hooked were Large fish.
Water levels are slowly going down and we expect that, unless there is a change in the weather, we may be able to fish the Bathtub by the middle of next week. The pools in the river are starting to shape up nicely and the water temperature is optimal at about 63 degrees F (17 degrees C).
With a heavy heart I must also report the Al Nippard who guided on the Lower Eagle for 39 years lost his battle with cancer yesterday.
