Things have slowed down quite a bit in the past few days, but Eagle has still been providing some good action for the guests we have in now. The river continues to drop and we are turning to our top pools at Air Force side and Pratts to keep the action going. The flat boating section of the river is very slow. Temps hit the low 70's this week but seems to have cooled a few degrees today from the cool temps last night and cloud cover today. The best action over the weekend was below William's Run and on Saturday one duo hooked 8 fish there in their hour and half at the pool.

These past few days we are hosting folks who helped us support some worthy causes by buying packages that we donated to fundraisers for Ducks Unlimited, and Night of Delight (children's cancer) Thank you to the purchasers and we are very proud to be supporting these causes.

Today we welcome a brother and sister fishing duo from Port Hope Simpson. We keep teasing them because they live next to a neighboring river, the Alexis River, but 'had' to come to the Eagle for some real action! And they got it. Shortly after wetting their lines they were into 3 beautiful grilse, and we took the pictures to prove it. Congrats Roxanne and Barry!
